Making a Food website ( in my case about cheese ) i need to make sure i have all the assets that a good food website hold.
There are many things to be recognised before delving into building a website , what is important is font. Font plays a big role in websites , many websites have fonts that are just too disorientating , i want to make sure i use the perfect font for the website. It needs to be basic but modern , nice , crisp looking.
One i like already which is on wix is roboto thin which is available on wix.
As you can see the home website looks quite bland and boring , you can clearly see where the colour theme is and the nice modern touch but it's minimalism in information is noticeable , I want the home page for the new site to be interactive , aesthetically pleasing and shows information.

''The eyes lay first on the food , the key of every food website is a combination of brilliant photography and amazing photo-editing skills.'' - what this statement means is that using indulging foods is key , luckily my client ha s a lot of un-used photos which i can add , i can enhance these photos to make them look even more appetising Colour play is a big factor in what makes a food website design stand-out.
For the cheese website i will be using a colour theme which is seen quite a lot in the original website. However it is a very warming and inviting colour so i will use again in my website.

What is the goal of your website ,
the main “statement” that you want to emerge out of the website discussions?
My goal of the website is to create a website based on the Norfolk Cheese Company , I want to create the website for the future of the website so it can give the client an insight into what they could have.
I want to create an online store for the client ( which they don't have at the moment ) and also add in lots of little things in the website like a google maps marquee finder. I want it to look more interesting than the website it is right now.
Topic
The generic website for a food website is that it holds a good colour theme , interesting and interactive. This is the 3 main points in a food website.
identifying the target audience you are writing for allows you to drive your entire content idea-generating process towards the audience. The keywords you should target, social platforms you promote your content on and even the website design you present to the world will all fall into place if you understand the audience you’re going after. For me the Norfolk Cheese Company , is on all social media except for twitter. This means i can link this all in for the website so users can find us easily. The target audience i will aim for is for adults , this is because i will be implementing store into the website so that customers can now order off the website.
FIRST MEETING
My first meeting occurred on the 21st of January , this meting is purely based on what i am going to do , I stated the things i believe we could add to make it better than the original and finalise what the client wants on the website , I guided the client through the gadgets i believe would look nice so she has a full understanding on what is going on.
SECOND MEETING
my first meeting with my client occurred on the 11th of February and so far she is pleased this meeting is purely based on what has been built so far and how we can develop on from here. We discussed the ongoing widgets i was adding and the build of the store. She said that she would like to see the Norfolk cheese company logo a button to click to get back to the homepage. So i will add that in as there is no way to get back to the main page at this moment in time. However other than that she was very impressed and that the colour theme is good.
THIRD MEETING
My third meeting occurred on the 20th of February , this is when the website was really taking shape and looking finished , I showed the shop i had developed and how i am just going to add some finishing touches. She is very pleased on how it is looking and gave me consent to add in some customers reviews.
FOURTH AND FINAL MEETING
The website has now been complete , i gave her an approximately of 10 mins of looking through the website and what is has to offer , she was very pleased and is now considering using it full time.
